Øĝanced in the English Musical “EVITA” directed by Shri Alyque Padamsee and choreographed by Terence Lewis. Ø Was appointed the General Secretary for the Hindi Sahitya Sangeet and Natya Academy in 1999 and organised the Musical evening “Sunheri Yaaden” where I performed, danced and sung too with an audience comprising of eminent people like Shri Mahendra Kapoor, Shri Vijay Anand, Shri J.P. ØĜhoreographed and acted in the French Play (adaptation of Moliere’s French Playwright) in English “Love is the Best Remedy” directed by French Director, Mr. ØĜhoreographed a dance for the song “Rang De” for Asha Bhonsle’s live shows. ØĜhoreographed and performed during the Apre Midi Festival in 97 and for French Independence day in 1999 for French songs with semi classical fusion choreography. Ø Performed a solo Bharatanatyam recital during the Kali Durga Pooja celebrations at Vyas, Ustad Zakhir Hussain and Shri Raja and Radha Reddy. Performed solo Indian classical dance recital Bharatanatyam and won the first prize in the competition organized by Vedic Heritage Inc, New York, Hempstead where I performed with eminent personalities and legendary performers like Sangeet Martand Shri Pandit jasraj, Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Pandit C.R.Ø Performed a solo Bharatanatyam recital at Alliance France De Bombay in 99, 20. Ø Performed and won prizes at several college festivals and competitions such as Malhar, Kaleidoscope, Mood Indigo, Umang at Mitibhai college, Shiv shakti mandir, (Vedic Heritage) New York, America and also at Swar sadhana samiti, Lions club, Rotary Club functions etc. Øĝance and lecture demonstration with Shri Deepak Mazumdar Guruvayoor temple, Kerala - Onam celebrations at Melpatoor.Garodia Nagar Bhakta Sangam - Ayappa Puja celebrations.Øğew places and occasions of performances: Ø Performed several Classical Indian Ballets like “Navarasa”, “Ajaatashatru”etc. ØĜhoreographed wrote and composed music for a Ballet on “Ancient Indian Mathematics” – Crest of the Peacock. Stood first in the District and state level Indian classical dance competition held by the Government of Maharashtra.Ø Ist prize winner of “Colgate Gel Boogie Woogie” dance competition (inter collegiate classical dance competition telecast in Sony entertainment television on 5th November 1997) Stood first at Ward, zonal, district and regional level competitions.ØĚwarded the “NRITYAMAYOOR AWARD” (February 1996) by the Government of Maharashtra, Education Department. Ø Given several performances in solo classical, self choreographed classical jugalbandis with kathak and odyssey, western contemporary choreography and self choreographed Bollywood numbers mostly for stage shows till recently. Trained in Jazz Ballet (Ms.Yana from England and Mr.Terence Lewis in India).Kadirvelu Pillai who has trained famous artists like Asha Parekh, Hema Malini and Sonal Mansingh to name a few.
